Family

My family has had some trying times lately.  Thinking of good times and remembering we're all there for each other helps.  We can't always be together, so I love having photos up.  I saw some great photo arrangement ideas on Pinterest and I really liked how some arrangements used vinyl words.  For my wall I decided to use just one word.  I looked on the Silhouette America online store and found an existing design that was in one piece.

I fed the vinyl through the machine (no mat needed), cut the word and then, following directions I found online, I realized I was going to need transfer paper...huge bummer.  I ordered it from Amazon then had to wait until it got here..which stank since I had momentum going.  Luckily, it got here quickly and I cut the transfer paper to size, placed it on top of the vinyl cutting and rubbed over the entire design to get it onto the transfer paper.

Then I took the backing off the transfer paper and was ready to figure out placement on the wall.

I rubbed the vinyl off the transfer paper onto the wall and VOILA, it was done.

I love how it came out! Only thing I regret?  I wish I hadn't been so hesitant to do this project! Now that I've done it, I've got some other vinyl projects in mind!
