Crafty Pursuits

A little birdie told me that my sister was anxiously awaiting for her to be featured here (she knows she should be next since my brother has already been up). But, she'll just have to wait a little longer, since today it's about crafting (isn't it about time?)

The battered women's shelter that we were planning to donate washcloths to had to be evacuated because of a bed bug infestation (which was really upsetting, aren't things hard enough for those women) and until they are back up and running we are still collecting washcloths for another deserving group. So, I finished up 2 more and have one more to go before I've made all the ones I've tagged.

This washcloth is Louie the Lobstah (designed by a Lobstah girl), and I chose this one because I love a lobster motif (I really do, don't ask why, I have no idea).

And here is the Twin Leaf cloth.

Saartje's Booties
Thousands of people have made these on Ravelry, I thought
I would take them on to learn something new. Made them to coordinate
with a baby sweater I made.

Debbie Bliss' Eyelet Dress
From the Baby Knits for Beginner's book I'm
working my way through. This little toddler dress took
what seemed like forever. Glad I can move on and I'm one project
closer to finishing the book.

I also was able to create one of my "visions"...presenting Little Farmyard Hat.

I hope to write this pattern up in the next few weeks, and hopefully have the next design finished too. The base is done, I just have to tweak the appliques.
Next time: Little Sister
