I've been knitting here and there (and need to kick it up, because I've got some beautiful new Harmony interchangeable knitting needles) and managed to finish my Prairie Boot slippers. I used Tahitian Teal and Chianti colorways, and they are so SOFT! I couldn't find 12 affordable buttons that I liked, so I made them with Sculpey. They came out gorgeous...the purple wasn't 100% what I was looking for, but I'm so happy with them!
It's been so cold here that they will really come in handy. I'm also glad I was able to use the skills I picked up at the polymer clay class I took a few months ago. It was a thrill to have them come out right! I have a couple of other clay projects I want to work on in the next few months, and I may post a tutorial of sorts to share with you some of the button-making tips I learned. I've also been working from my stash and I am currently finishing up the below Ribbed Cardigan (o-3 month size). After it's finished I may try to knit myself up a hat to match my Bella mittens, because my knit headband isn't cutting it! And I want to keep working on my Hanami stole. After I get a few more repeats done I'll post photos, bit right now, there isn't too much to show on that.
Next post I'll share some more about my birthday and Christmas (after I have the chance to go through the photos). Until the next post we'll be here creating and crafting, because a new decade may have started but here at the Craft Chick household we're still CRAFTING!!!

Wow, what a haul it sounds like you got! Those buttons are great. I'd love to be able make custom buttons for projects.
