Halloween

Our life has been so full of lots of interesting things....which is great for giving me lots of blog ideas...but it doesn't allow much time for writing about those ideas!

Halloween this year was a real treat, especially for Little Man.  The new neighborhood had more opportunities for festive fun.  It started with a Halloween party with our neighbors.  Everyone brought a creepy treat...so we brought creepy cupcakes.  There were eyeball cupcakes, Funfetti cupcakes and spider cupcakes. Little Man had fun decorating the cupcakes, even though he thought they were for a party that Mommy was going to go to alone.  We didn't tell him about the surprise costume party until we were walking over...it was so fun to see the excitement on his face!

We went pumpkin picking like we do every year, and enjoyed beautiful weather.  While I worked on cupcakes, the fellas carved the jack o'lantern face I drew based on Little Man's specifications.

And, on Halloween, we walked the neighborhood with other families on a beautiful evening and enjoyed how many of the families had such great Halloween spirit.

And, to get some crafty content in here...Crafty Grandma sent us a Halloween origami set...so we had fun (through the struggles) of making a pumpkin, cat and bat...and Little Man enjoyed decorating them too!

I cannot believe there are only 2 days until Thanksgiving! I'm going to try to have another post up this weekend because I've got to get to posting to catch you up with everything that's been going on!
