Our family loves the water so much that this year I thought it would be a great idea to try out boating on the nearby lake and see if it was something we could get into. So we all registered for the NC Wildlife Boating Class and spent our Sunday learning all about boating regulations, etc. Then we took a test (WE ALL PASSED) so that we could be certified for the water. While Hubby and I are old enough that we didn't have to pass the test, Little Man passing it means that once he has a driver's license he'll be able to handle to boat too (the class is good for your lifetime). We learned so much and it made us feel better about the next step...renting a boat to take out onto the lake...yikes!
