November 14th

I have two projects on the needles right now. The first is the Cashmere Aran Cable Scarf I'm making for my Pop for Christmas. I've got two of the eight repeats done. My mantra: I think I can I think I can. I made a mistake last week while watching Grey's Anatomy, I'll have to be more careful with my cables from now on. Evey other row has cable twists, so it isn't the project to do at a knitting meet up. That's why I cast-on for...

The knit snake for Little Man. I think I discussed previously how I had made one for him last Christmas and my nephew liked it and adopted it. Not a problem since I figured I could always make another one. So I'm using leftover yarn from other projects to make it. It doesn't have a deadline, I just started it since I needed some mindless knitting for sitting with my new knitting friends.

Beautiful work doing those cables, Rose - I started working on a scarf with two sets six stitch cables for my son. Yours looks like a lot more work. Keep up the good work. While my daughter was here we shared some knitting moments. She completed a scarf for her 3 yr old. She wants me to make the matching hat. She would like to practice knit & purl by making dishcloths. Now tell me about your pink chick- is that because you are a craft chic? That's what I'm guessing.
