What I'm Up To...

Tomorrow we head to PA for Easter. April is gearing up and it's going to be a while until I spend a week at home. I'll be here a few days before taking off for quite a while. There's been drama in the family, but I'm not at liberty to talk about it here, since it's not directly my drama. But it's been an interesting week. I haven't worked too much on projects, but I'm 90% done with my spring cleaning which feels good. Hubby and I have also been working on landscaping outside while the weather has been nice. I did go to the stash to work on the sweater below, but unfortunately I ran out of yarn to do the sleeves, so I'll have to wait until I can pick up some yarn to finish it. I didn't buy the yarn I did have, so only having to buy one skein to finish it won't be too bad.
Until I can finish the sweater I can work on the Namaste Yoga Mat Bag. I'm reworking the pattern to make it in the round instead of flat which would require seaming. I crocheted the bottom and then picked up stitches all the way around. This yarn was also yarn that I picked up from a fellow knitter. I'm hoping the cone I have of this great sturdy cotton will be enough to finish this project, and I think it will be a great car ride project.

We'll be getting up early tomorrow morning, so I'm going to end this post now, but I look forward to sharing photos and video of Little Man at swim class next post.

Have fun! Yoga mat cover looks interesting and can't wait to see it finished.
