Day 2!

When hubby and I woke up Tuesday morning (amazingly before Little Man), we looked into the back bedroom and saw this sight...aren't they cute? Both totally knocked out!

There's something so cool about staying your bathing suit all day...and that's what we did Tuesday. Hubby ran to the campground store and grabbed milk, and we had muffins and fruit salad for breakfast. Then we all put on our bathing suits, hopped onto the golf cart, and made our way to the beach. It was packed...but after finding our little piece of heaven, we settled in for some serious splashing in the waves and soaking up the sun.

Little Man didn't stay still to build sandcastles very long, he was having way too much fun splashing in the waves, but we did get him to take some breaks to catch his breath. He sure does love the beach!

Later, after lunch and a mini nap for Little Man, we headed to the pool for some more splashing fun. Little Man and I played a little tag while Hubby and Aunt Doozer watched. All of the adults took turns with him. The water felt very nice...it was hot out!

That night we ate grilled shrimp outside, along with salads. That night we had ice cream for dessert (funnel cake for me), and played Rainbow Fish bingo which was a lot of fun for all of us. And after Little Man went to bed we watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, since my sister hadn't seen it yet (actually we only watched part of it...we were all pooped!) My sister said that she wanted to turn in early in case Little Man woke up while it was still dark again and said (as he had EARLY that morning), "I don't want to sleep all day!" But then, with as much fun as we were all having, who could blame him?
